Eric A. Soto holds the position of Chief Information Officer. Mr. Soto has more than 15 years of information technology experience with a B.S. in Systems and Information Science from Syracuse University in NY. Mr. Soto has considerable experience as a project director and manager of process engineering, Internet application development, Internet server architecture and
operations, database design, requirements analysis/documentation, network architecture, hardware architecture, system migrations and technical training. Mr. Soto is fluent in Spanish, and successfully interacts with professionals of varying technical backgrounds. He is the Chief Information Officer of Action Online Technologies, Inc. and is responsible for managing technology operations, database development, and content management software.
Prior to this role with Action Online, Mr. Soto founded Internet Systems Solutions, a firm that develops technical solutions in the manufacturing, distribution, wholesale / retail sales, Internet and hospitality industries. He managed the design, implementation, and programming teams at ISS, which successfully completed specialized projects for Starwood Hotels, Houston Zoo, and Jimenez Y Fernandez (a major producer of Puerto Rico�s coffee).
Prior to this, Mr. Soto was the Chief Technology Officer at Big E Online, Inc. (now Hollywood Media Corp), where he directed a staff of over 30 technology personnel in the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the company�s websites. Eric led the technology team that was instrumental in transitioning the company from a retailer to a full Internet and new media business.
