Mary Hall, President and Chief Operating Officer

The position of President and Chief Operating Officer is held by Mary Hall. Ms. Hall has over 16 years of operational, marketing, merchandising and general management expertise, specifically in the media and Internet new media sectors. Ms. Hall is the President and Founder of Action Online Technologies, Inc., and is responsible for directing and coordinating the daily activities and operations of the company.

Prior to this, for five years, Ms. Hall was the Vice President of Operations for Hollywood Media Corp., a publicly held company whose focus is on entertainment media.  During her tenure with Hollywood Media Corp., she was responsible for the operation and development of the company�s consumer product brands including three major web sites providing on line ticketing services and entertainment related editorial content and e-commerce.  In this capacity, she directed a team of over 75 employees and managed all editorial, marketing, sales, production, technology, customer service and graphic design operations for these brands.  When Ms. Hall joined Hollywood Media, the company was a mall-based retailer focusing on the sales of entertainment related licensed products.  Ms. Hall led the effort to transition the company to an Internet based entertainment media organization and can boast responsibility for building, launching and operating three of the top consumer entertainment related websites in existence: Hollywood.com, Broadway.com and MovieTickets.com.

Ms. Hall�s early management experience was in the retail market, where she managed retail operations and merchandise operations within The Limited, Marriott Hotels, and Tribune Company.  She was the division sales manager at Sirgany Century Miami Airport, where she managed the operations of 23 gift shops and led a team of over 100 employees.  Following this, her duties at Allders International included the management of buying, merchandising, sales and marketing for more than 50 outlets on board 22 cruise ships throughout the world and four airports nationwide.  She has also served as a consultant and has addressed and advised Caribbean community trade organizations such as ECSEDA, the Eastern Caribbean States Export Development Agency, and Caricom on various topics, including retailing in the U.S. tourism sector and marketing to the retail industry.
